Mobility Improvement

Important Information

  • Over 40% of joint restriction is in the fascia/muscle.
  • Between 40-50% of joint restriction is found in the joint capsule.
  • FST creates room in the joint capsule with traction of the joint. Traction causes decompression of the joint and allows the joint to reach a further range without pain.
  • FST targets the fascia and muscle throughout different anatomical planes.


The Structure of Our Sessions

  • Our sessions for Mobility Improvement start with an assessment of where restrictions are present in your body. We proceed with a Fascial Stretch Therapy session, focusing our attention to restricted areas.  At the end of our FST session the client is given a Flexibility Maintenance Program to continue independent work on improving the health of their fascia and improving their mobility.
